So it has been a while since I wrote anything here, and lots has changed. Most notably the city I reside in. After months of telling myself that one day I would move to New York City, in about a weeks time I actually took the plunge to find an apartment and buy the plane ticket. I’ve been here a little over three weeks now and so far I am really enjoying my time here.
In other news I’ve also begun a buying internship with a boutique here in the city, and have found a part-time job with a children’s clothing store that I will start later this week. Hopefully this will all help me build my resume and eventually reach my goal of working as a buyer.
I’m not sure that I am going to begin writing here on a regular basis, I would like to, but we’ll just have to see how things go. I’m not really sure anyone actually reads this blog anyways, so if I do choose to write it will be in large part for myself. If anyone else happens to enjoy it, that’s great too.

Luckily I did not have to do this by myself, I had the help of my dad, but it was still a long and exhausting day. Continue reading
